I was told to be good at what you are, you must emulate your superiors. And now i see sense in that.
For the next few weeks then, im gonna be listening to some of kenyas great deejays, listening to them either playing live or their live recorded mixtapes and see what kind of music selection they have and how they blend them.
Top on my list is
Jack Rooster and the "Deeper Sounds Of Nairobi parts 1to 11"
Dj Mista Dru with "Road to IlCovo parts 1 2 and 3
Creme Dela Creme with "Mixtape Madness" and his live show on Homeboys Radio
Dj Protege with his Dance Republic show on Capital Fm
Im also gonna be attending events (for research and listening purposes) so expect to see me @ Changes Thursday Team100 @ Psys, The Office Thursdays, Uptown Thursday an all the other major events going down
