Tomiso On Air

This week, one of the most diverse and unique Kenyan artist, Muthoni The Drummer Queen, released her new collaboration track "Vile Inafaa"  with Octopizzo. Now, for those die hard fans of DQ you will know that this track is not her. . . normal style of music. Somehow she seemed to have tested the waters of rap and hip hop and what better way of doing it than collaborating with Kenya's king of hip hop octopizzo aka number nane!

She nailed it. The track has a smooth flow to it. . .sort of hip-hop/rap re invented. So i got to thinking, what can i do to spruce up my trends musically? I mean ordinary deejays do club gigs, concerts and release mix-tapes. . that's just about it, but, do i want to be an ordinary deejay or do i want to be unique. . .diverse. . .bring something fresh to my fans?

So from now on, no more normal mix tapes for me. Instead, i will be releasing episodes of my music mixes and blends semi-weekly (i.e every other week), recorded at an undisclosed location in Nairobi. Starting this coming Monday 14th of May, get ready for "Tomiso Live On Air Episode 1"  pure music mixes & blends for you to download, share and listen!
